Wire Stripper Assembler - The Assembler I is responsible for reading work orders and blueprints, performing quality inspections, and assembly. Assembly may include using a machine or manually securing multiple pieces of a tool together with a rivet, pin, or screw, applying handles, magnets, fins, engraving, or plastic covering, and packaging.  The ability to use measuring tools such as a caliper may be required.

Plier Packer - The packer is responsible for reading work orders, dipping the tool in oil (rust preventative), cleaning the tool, packing the tool in a clamshell with an insert card, operating the sealer, boxing final product and palletizing boxes.  This position rotates every two hours

Robotic Grinding Machine Operator - The CNC Operator II is responsible for reading work orders and blueprints, completing quality inspections, troubleshooting minor machine issues, and deburring cut tools. The operator loads coinings (unfinished side of a tool) into the machine and unloads when complete. At the beginning of each new order and periodically during the shift, the operator will obtain measurements from a computerized measuring machine or from manual quality inspections and enter them into a computer database. Based on the measurements, the operator may be required to perform offsets or adjustments to the machine. In addition, this position may be required to complete preventative maintenance. Basic computer skills and the ability to use measuring tools such as a caliper, micrometer, feeler gage, chamfer gage, and pin gage are required.
