Last week was a busy competition week, and we couldn't be prouder of our students and their advisors for showing up and winning big! Please help us cheer on these competitors as they advance to the state competitions later this semester!

• SHOUT OUT and THANK YOU to Casey Crow, Paige Lampe, Sophia Hoenig, and Natalie Wilson!  83 DECA competitors advanced to the state competition in Dallas next month after a very successful district competition.  But wait, there's more.  Our DECA Chapter was awarded the District's Chapter of the Year!  You can see all the results here.

• SHOUT OUT and THANK YOU to our HOSA advisors Annette Gonzales and Crista Parr.  35/40 HOSA competitors advanced to the state competition in Corpus Christi in March!  Please help me congratulate these students!

• SHOUT OUT and THANK YOU to David Roberson and Jocqui Baker-Roberson.  Both the Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management teams won 1^st place at the ProStart regionals last week and will be competing at the state competition in March!  Be sure to congratulate these students when you see them!

• SHOUT OUT and THANK YOU to Jimmie Green, Aleena Hinojosa, and Monica Abrams!  Our FOUR Robotic Teams won awards after a full day of competing at the FTC Robotics Tournament on Saturday, with one of those teams advancing!  I will be able to share specific results as soon as these superstars rest up!
