Each year, the top 10 graduates from each high school selects a teacher who had the greatest impact on them throughout their school career. Four Ben Barber Innovation Academy teachers were selected and honored at the Top Scholar and Distinguished Educator Banquet on May 11, 2023. 

Business Professionals of America students, Kaden N. and Isaiah G. won in their competitive events on Saturday, April 29, 2023. We are so proud of them and their sponsor and coach, Mr. Deon Martinez. 

The MISD FFA chapter competed recently in Lubbock and Arlington and won many awards and recognitions. We congratulate them on their success. 

Four students from the Ben Barber business, marketing, and finance career cluster have traveled to Texas A & M Commerce to promote their small business ideas.

C-SPAN StudentCam 2023 has posted the winners of their annual documentary competition and two MISD teams received honors and accolades for their work.
