* The starred courses are part of the certification program in NAF's ACADEMY OF FINANCE. These courses are elective courses which are available to all students who have met the prerequisites. For students wishing to complete the National Academy Foundation (NAF) Academy of Finance (AOF) certification, Accounting plus two more courses should be completed. Students wishing to participate in the AOF must sign a formal "Letter of Commitment," which states that a coherent sequence of courses must be taken, that a minimum grade of 85% must be maintained, and that a paid internship, usually during the summer following the junior year, must be completed. By committing to this course of study, students understand that NAF scholarship opportunities and articulated college credit are part of this certification.
