What we do: American Sign Language Club is for current and current former ASL students to come and to improve their sign language skills. Students will get the opportunity to learn more about ASL and Deaf culture, and to experience and interact with members of the Deaf Community. To promote the use of ASL to bring in together DIVERSITY, UNITY & CULTURAL AWARNESS.

What we do? The Barbeque team is for any Mansfield ISD high schooler interested in cooking using a smoker outdoors. We smoke different types of meats, cook beans, and use a dutch oven to make desserts. We host fundraisers, compete at competitions, and have a great time.

What we do: We exist to educate students on the intricacies of competing in various competitions that utilize their culinary and hospitality skills learned in class. We also introduce culinary students that are interested in this field to colleges and industry professionals that can help jumpstart their career in the foodservice industry. Our Club is an extension or beginning to any culinary arts class.

When we meet: Club meetings are every third Friday of the month; Practices are communicated on a calendar. 

What we do: DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management in high schools and colleges around the globe. You will gain real-world knowledge through competitions from your class-work and field trips like GDX, Dallas Cowboys, Dallas Mavericks, and Six Flags.

What we do: We play competitive e-Sports Games in  local and national leagues. Students from all MISD  High schools are welcomed to join and you do not have be enrolled in a Ben Barber class to participate. What we do: Membership in the National FFA Organization is open to any student enrolled in an agriculture course. We complete in Leadership, Career, and Speaking Development Events, as well as stock shows and other competitions throughout the year.

What is it: HOSA is for students interested in pursuing a career in the field of health science. We host fundraisers and community events related to health science, as well as compete in regional, state, and national competitions. It is an excellent way to meet peers with the same goals and network with current medical professionals. HOSA is 100% health care and looks great on college applications and resumes.

What we do: This team consists of 9th-12th graders representing all MISD high schools.  We participate in the Texas High School Clay Target League competing in Trap Shooting.   All practices and area competitions are held at Arlington Sportsman Club on Mondays starting at 3:30pm.

What we do: We design and build a solar car from start to finish using many programs of study and students of different skill sets. Please get involved and get excited to improve and test our new four seater car for the race around TEXAS in the summer of 2025!
